In June of 2011, I attended Great Lakes Truck Driving School taking the 200 hour basic skills CDL training program. Truck driving was all new to me. I didn’t even know how to drive a car with a manual transmission, let alone a tractor trailer. During school, I saw numerous recruiters come in with endless opportunities for new drivers. Only one company stood out to me which was Valley Transportation. I filled out the application, interviewed with the company, and started my orientation the Monday after I graduated. I worked for Valley Transportation as a driver for around 3 years. In December of 2014, I became the Safety Supervisor of the fleet. Great Lakes Truck Driving School put me where I am today, and I will be forever grateful to them for that. – Jarod Campbell
